Hello got this love note from Apple testers yesterday.
"Performance - 2.4.1
We noticed that your app did not run at iPhone resolution when reviewed on iPad running iOS 10.1.1. Specifically, the sign up section does not allow sign up..
We've attached screenshot(s) for your reference"
I am trying to get my first app into the app store. My app was built with a variety of gems. For layout/UI/styling. I went with RMQ, for several reasons. I never tested my app on an iPad, just a iPhone and simulators. When the reviewers went through my app, they sent a screenshot, showing how distorted it was on an iPad. Although I did not build an iPad app, apparently my app looks like crap on an iPad. I confirmed what they said, by running my app on the iPad simulator, and it is almost completely unusable. I will note, that some values for frames and positioning of view are powered by shorthands like "device.width"(RMQ), or just setting a frame. Now in this re-factoring phases, I want to make sure I do this right.
- Has anyone had this issue before? If so how did you solve it.
- Given the nature of how us RM developers do most things in code, what is the best approach for ensuring that our iPhone apps looks normal when ran on an iPad.
