I'm trying to put a basic hello world app together to smoke test my RubyMine setup for RubyMotion. I keep getting this error when trying to run the emulator for the default empty project you get when creating a new Android app in RM:
ERROR! app.sdk_path should point to a valid Android SDK directory. Run 'motion android-setup' to install the latest SDK version.
I've been Googling this issue and turned up a few posts that seem to suggest my problem is due to some environment variables not being set. But I have added them to /etc/profile on my MAC and they seem to be ok in the terminal in RM:
Mac2802:hello bradley.atkins$ echo $RUBYMOTION_ANDROID_NDK
Mac2802:hello bradley.atkins$ echo $RUBYMOTION_ANDROID_SDK
Those directories definitely exist and I've tried adding the latest SDK's from the 'motion android-setup' tool, but I'm not sure if I should be adding in some specific SDK's....
Another thing I'm unsure about is my java version. The version I currently have might be too up to date:
Mac2802:hello bradley.atkins$ javac -version
As I am brand new to this I have no idea yet what the correct dependencies etc. are for putting your first project together using Ruby Motion and RubyMine.
Can anyone suggest some avenues of investigation for me?
