I'm just getting started with my first RubyMotion project and I'm wanting to understand how to set things up for a fast feedback loop with unit testing.
rake spec per the Getting Started guide, compiles and links the whole project before running the specs. This takes several seconds, even with my blank project.
I'd like to be able to unit test individual classes / models without having to compile everything first so I can make my development cycle as fast as possible. Is there a recommended way to do this? Does RubyMotion have an interpreted mode?
Alternatively, can I unit test (model) components using a standard Ruby runtime (for the faster development cycle)? or will that lead to problems when it comes to integrating them?
